Prospective Students

Deferrals are determined on a case-by-case basis, and are accepted for a maximum of two semesters, after which time you may have to reapply. The Admissions Committee considers equally students with backgrounds in the basic sciences, social sciences, and liberal arts. Transfer students are accepted from other accredited institutions. Students will be admitted into the program or semester which best fits their academic credentials.

The Admissions Committee seeks applicants who adhere to a high level of personal integrity.

2019/2020 Academic Session Admission

For the 2019/2020 academic session, application for admission into the programmes of the College has commenced from Tuesday 2nd January, 2019.

Prospective students are to download application form from the College website which should be carefully completed in the candidate’s handwriting. The completed form with accompanied documents should be submitted in person at the Administrative office of the College at the permanent site located along Igbonla road, Ajase-Ipo, Kwara State. Application form should be accompanied with bank teller of payment of a non-refundable fee of seven thousand five hundred naira (N7,500) only. Payment should be made into the College Account at any branch of UNITED BANK OF AFRICA Plc with the following account details:

Please attach photocopy of receipt of payment to the application form.  Kindly note that any application form not accompanied with the photocopy of the receipt of purchase will not be processed.

The closing date for the submission of application form will be made available on this website later. The date of entrance examination to the College and interview will be communicated to all applicants later.


N.B: The list of successful students for admission will be made available on the College website a week after the conduct of the entrance examination. Candidates are advised to check the College website on a daily basis.

Registration of Fresh and Returning Stusents

Procedure for registration

It is compulsory that all admitted candidates be registered with:

  1. The Registry Office
  2. Their respective department
  3. The students' Affair office
  4. The School Library
  5. The College Health Centre
  6. The College Bookshop
  7. The College ICT Centre

Details and comprehensive registration procedure would always be made available at the beginning of every academic session. No student shall be permitted to attend lectures or examinations in any session until he or she is fully registered and complete the appropriate College registration form.

Late registration

Normally a time-limit is to be given within which all registration is to have been completed. However, late registration may be considered in exceptional cases after payment of a stipulated fee.

Deferment of Registration

A candidate may, on the provision of convincing reason, be allowed to defer his/her registration for an academic session in the first instance on the recommendation of the appropriate head of department.
A student would need to defer his/her registration as a result of pregnancy, prolong sickness, inability to pay school fees, Failure of certain paper (s) in final External or Internal examinations, deferment due to misconduct, etc. whatever is the reason (s) a course deferment form must be obtained from the College Registry on payment of appropriate fee. The form must be returned after completion before leaving the school.
Any student who fails to comply with this regulation may be asked to reapply for admission in order to put his/her records straight. The maximum period allowed for deferment shall normally be one academic session.

Reactivation of Deferred Registration

When a student who defers his/her registration is resuming back to school, he/she must obtain and complete course reactivation form at the registry before commencing classes on the payment of the appropriate fee. The college provost shall consider all reactivation of deferred registration request.

Renewal of Registration

Each candidate shall register at the commencement of each session until the completion of the certificate or diploma programme.

Lapsed Registration

A registration shall be deemed to have lapsed if:

  1. The affected student falls to renew his or her registration by completing the course registration form in any one session,
  2. The affected student fails to present him of herself for Examination at the expiration of the approved maximum period of study without acceptable reasons
  3. The affected student has been unable to complete the approved duration for the programme.

Concurrent registration for Two Programme

No student shall be allowed to concurrently register for two programmes in the college. Any student found to have violated this aspect of the registration would forfeit both registrations.
